Marble is a type of metamorphic rock formed from limestone. Marble is found in many countries, including Belgium, France, Great Britain, Greece, India, Italy, and Spain. However undoubtedly the most exquisite marbles such as Statuario, Botticino, Veneto Carrara, Emperador and Rosso Alicante etc. are found in Europe primarily in region of Italy.
